David Noonan
Untitled, 2011
David Noonan is an Australian artist who lives and works in London. Noonan works with collected materials, using mediums such as film, collage, and painting to create multi-layered imagery.

His collage brings historical and contemporary imagery together in the dialogue between figuration and abstraction whilst proposing a de-linear sense of time. He celebrates ambiguities, contradictions and in-between spaces to allow for a multitude of possible readings and associations.
Often working with a monochromatic palette that references his historical source material the artist  presents a distilled, harmonious aesthetic.
